CHILBLAIN

Chilblain is a painful swelling or sore, especially on the fingers or toes, caused by exposure to cold or poor circulation. It resembles a mild case of frostbite or trench foot, but is characterized by an itching or burning dermatitis and probably a sensitization to recurring exposure to cold. The main contributing factors may be contact with wetness or metal and inadequate clothing. Alcoholism or an underlying vascular or systemic disease can also cause it. The young and the old are especially vulnerable. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can also contribute to chilblain.
    * A good nutrition program such as the Vitality 6 pack can make a difference in almost any physical challenge, as can exercise and, in this case, warm clothing.
Keep your feet warm. Massage them daily with Renew Bath Oil or Body Satin Foot Lotion to stimulate circulation. Carefully apply T36-C5 directly on the chilblain. See the section on Frostbite.
