HIVES

    Hives are a form of skin rash that consists of raised white welts mixed with red patches on the skin. Burning, itching and the formation of smooth patches characterize it. The cause of hives is an allergic or hypersensitive reaction to drug allergies, severe stress, insect stings or bites, exposure to weeds or weed venom, and ingestion of certain foods (particularly eggs, shellfish, nuts or fruits).
