IMPETIGO

This highly contagious skin disease is recognized by eruptions of pustules or blisters. Caused by the streptococcus or staphylococcus bacteria, the infection primarily affects children. Spots or inflamed patches break out on the scalp, neck and face. Blisters that sometimes crust over will appear on the knees and on the hands.
     * Use a cotton ball to apply T36-C5 to all pimple and blister areas. When dry, treat the area carefully by applying MelaGel, Renew Intensive Skin Therapy, or Pain-A-Trate. Repeat several times each day.
Since impetigo is an extremely contagious infection, steps must be taken to assure that others in the household aren't infected. Wash the affected person's clothes and bedding separately using MelaPower and a capful of Sol-U-Mel.
