PRURITIS

Itchy skin is certainly annoying, yet it can also be an indication of serious disease. However, it is usually a manifestation of a relatively minor ailment such as an allergic reaction or dry skin.
Some of the illnesses and diseases that may cause pruritis include: hepatitis, cancer, kidney failure, kidney infections, liver failure, food allergies, contact allergies due to poisonous plants, soaps and metals, internal fungal Infections, skin fungal infections, essential fatty acid deficiency, and vitamin A deficiency.
    * Melaleuca's products that contain Melaleuca oil are excellent for pruritis, as the oil is one of nature's finest anti-itch remedies. Some conditions warrant the direct use of T36-C5, while others will respond more readily to DermaCort or Dermatin. See the particular section in this book that applies to the condition you are experiencing, such as Leucorrhoea or Candida Albicans.
