The quality of air you breathe in your home may be robbing you of good health. Modern energy-efficient homes, by virtue of their airtight design, often trap chemical vapors from furniture, carpets, and building adhesives. Condensation from air ducts, houseplant soil, and sink areas can produce harmful mold, fungus, yeast and bacteria. Many respiratory, eye, ear, nose and throat complaints appear in doctors' waiting rooms because of overexposure to foul household air. Changes of seasons often shift populations of these microbial species as growing conditions fluctuate.
* Convert your home to Melaleuca products, replacing toxic cleaning and personal care products with safer Melaleuca products. The outgasssing of toxic vapors from both personal care and home hygiene products significantly increases air quality challenges.
Remove browning leaves from houseplants immediately. Provide good drainage for houseplants, and do not overwater.
Change air return filters monthly during extreme weather usage. Frequently spray all filters and vents with diluted Sol-U-Mel. To do a Melaleuca oil purge of your house two to twelve times a year, attach an inverted open bottle of T36-C5 on the furnace intake filter. The high air volume will diffuse the entire contents of the bottle throughout your air ducts and house over the next 12 to 36 hours (depending upon temperature and relative humidity). This treated air flows throughout all the rooms and helps to stop the growth of bacteria, molds, fungus, and viruses.
When using a room humidifier, add a capful or two of Sol-U-Mel each time you refill the water tank to help prevent the growth of mold, bacteria, fungus, and viruses in the humidifier and in the room air.
Take ProVex and/or ProVex-Plus when exposed to toxic substances to help minimize oxidation within the body.
