BRUISES

Ruptured blood vessels near the surface of the skin or in muscles can occur from injury, infection or blood disorders. Discoloration is at first red, then black and blue, and finally green as healing takes place. Bruises can accompany other injuries such as sprains and strains, fractures or a more serious injury. The elderly and those with more sensitive bodies seem to experience bruises more frequently than does the typically healthy young adult.

    * The immediate application of ice to a traumatized area helps reduce bruising. Pain-A-Trate has a deep penetrating effect and reduces swelling, increases circulation, and speeds healing. Apply as often as needed until pain, discoloration, and swelling disappear. In place of the Pain-A-Trate, T36-C5 can be used on the bruise. Its penetrating qualities will start the healing from the inside out. This should be repeated at least twice a day. If the bruised injury is near the eye, use caution to not get the oil, or products containing the oil, in or too near the eye.
To prevent easy bruising and speed healing, take ProVex and/or ProVex-Plus on a daily basis. These improve the strength and elasticity of blood vessels and thus help to prevent bruising.
