CUTICLES

    The rolled skin at the edge of the fingernails and toenails can give evidence at your general health. Dry cuticles, which split and become infected, are often due to exposure to harsh soaps or solvents such as gasoline or paint thinner. See the section on Dry Skin in this book
    * After washing your hands with Antibacterial Liquid Soap or The Gold Bar, apply Moisturizing Hand Creme and work it into the cuticles to prevent dryness. Apply Triple Antibiotic Ointment or MelaGel to the infected cuticles. See your health care provider for further advice.
