DOG BITE

    As incredible as it may seem, over a million people are bitten by dogs every year. Any animal bite can readily become infected. This is because bites are a type of puncture wound where contaminated secretions are injected deep into the tissues. Dog bites are notorious for becoming infected, and the rule of thumb is that any dog bite that breaks the skin, no matter how superficial, will become infected.
    * Wash the area with Antibacterial Liquid Soap and water and then apply T36-C5. Repeat three times each day for several days. Then apply it once each day until the wound is healed. See your doctor immediately if you cannot verify whether the animal has had a rabies vaccination.
