DISINFECTANTS

Disinfectants work by selectively reducing the population of disease causing germs to make room for the friendly germs without harming humans or household plants and animals. Sanitation engineers have taught us that in order to control the spread of disease, we must control the number and transportability of disease-causing germs. Several products are effective and especially stand out for their use in disinfecting toys, furniture, clothing, and bodies. See the Appendix in the back of this book for a comparison of the disinfectant properties of T36-C5 to other agents.

    * Sponge bathe a sick person with Antibacterial Liquid Soap or The Gold Bar on a washcloth to reduce surface germs transported through perspiration. Rinse well. Disinfect the air by running a steam vaporizer with 10 drops of T36-C5 and 2 capfuls of Sol-U-Mel in the sick room. For preventing the spread of germs through the skin, use Clear Defense Hand Gel or Wipes throughout the day to sanitize and kill germs on your hands without the need for soap and water.
To help prevent the spread of germs in the home or office, spray surfaces with Sol-U-Guard Botanical, a broad-spectrum disinfectant that is 99.99% effective against common kitchen and bathroom germs. In addition to bathroom and kitchen nonporous surfaces, also spray doorknobs, telephones, light switches, toys, ete. Sol-U-Guard Botanical is also EPA-approved for use in hospitals, day cares, schools, and nursing homes.
