JOCK ITCH

Fungal infections of the groin, commonly known as jock itch, can form ring lesions around the sides of the crotch. Scratching of the area can cause secondary infections or chronic dermatitis, The lesions may be complicated by secondary bacterial or yeast infections such as candida, The occurrences are chronic since the fungus may persist indefinitely or may repeatedly infect susceptible individuals. It occurs more often during the summer or when humidity is high.
    * Bathing in 1 oz of Sol-U-Mel and using the Antibacterial liquid Soap or The Gold Bar is helpful in controlling the fungus. After patting dry, apply Dermatin Antifungal Creme as directed. MelaGel, T36-C5, and Triple Antibiotic Ointment are also effective.
It has also been suggested that Nature's Cleanse be used as a deterrent to jock itch, as it is very effective on yeast.
Reduce your chances for re-infection by cleaning the bathroom areas using a 16 oz spray bottle containing 2 capfuls of Tough & Tender, 10 drops of T36-C5 and 2 capfuls of Sol-U-Mel in water. Wash all contact clothing in MelaPower and MelaBrite for additional protection.
